Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Research Triangle Park, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The chole bature, chai and aloo chaat were exceptionally good. the chaat was an out and refreshing, the chole was warm and comforting and was clearly home made. The chai was also perfect. I am happy to see them open again after the north raleigh location closed. However I miss the cafe vibes of North Raleigh with the small artisan goods, the chai biscuits and snacks. This location feels closer to the Durham location and doesnβt have the dosa waffles or cafe items.

Visited Cheeni in RTP and was really impressed. The staff is exceptionally polite, and the restaurant is quiet and uncrowded, making for a peaceful dining experience. The Food: Excellent quality. The samosa appetizers are a large size and not overly spicy. I had the Chicken Rice Bowl (very soft, juicy chicken served with vinegar onions, no gravy), which was great. My friend loved the Paneer Rice Bowl, which does come with gravy for the rice. Our other friend got the Paneer "Rollβ which is styled more like a naan with toppings than a standard wrap, but still very tasty. Convenience: Excellent location with a public parking garage directly across the street.

The menu is faaaaaaar too overpriced for what you get. The dishes didn't come with rice. That was an $8 side order. The rice portion itself was small and tasteless. We got a chicken dish for like ~$25 and it was dry and lacked any flavor. The fish was yummy but ~$35 which was insane given the portions and again, 0 rice or any sides. I really wanted to like Cheeni but I have been to all locations and am consistently frustrated with how they price their meals.

Recently went there with my coworkers on a team lunch. Loved the service, food and ambiance. The server explained all the specials many times to my big group of 15 people. Its a great spot to grab some quick lunch in the RTP area. Hope they will expand their menu and add some more variety!

An afternoon with my girls celebrating galentine at this place. Itβs new and the decor is just outstanding. I tried the chicken roll and the chole bhature. Must must must have. The staff was just awesome .. very friendly and took the best pics ever. Made our celebration today even better. Will definitely go again. Preeti the owner and chef was there and it was an absolutely amazing experience
